Digital Filmaking

All of Graetzmedia’s productions are shot on Red, often at 4K. We Installed a fibre-channel SAN and Digital Asset Management Solution to handle transcoding and managing the large data files and long render times associated with this acquisition method.

International Productions (WAN review)

A Digital Asset Management System was employed to allow internationally-based producers (Hong Kong and LA) to review rushes that are transcoded automatically from the R3D raw files that the camera produces.

Although Sydney-based we have continued to support Graetzmedia’s Brisbane-based editing systems remotely across the internet.

TV Production

Set up a 5-seat fibre-based SAN for editing multi-camera HD 1080i footage for the TV show “Are You Smarter than a Fifth-Grader”. Initial support and troubleshooting was handled remotely from Sydney.
